個人でビデオを取りYouTubeにアップできる時代です。しかもPCでかなり凝った映像も作れます。
そんな時代に、紀元前から続く究極のアナログ表現、舞台を上演しています。
舞台では、幻ではなく本当に他者が存在することを感じられます。そのことは、自分が本当に存在するということを感じることに繋がります。
「ある」の名前にふさわしい、あなたの眼の前に人がいるという、奇跡をお届けします。
そう、そのことに全力を尽くしている企画です。
We live in an age where individuals can take videos and upload them to the web. Moreover, you can create quite elaborate videos on your PC. In such an age, we are performing the ultimate organic form of expression, the stage, which has been around since BC.
On stage, you can feel that other people are really there, not just an illusion. This leads to the feeling that you really exist.
We deliver a miracle that people are right in front of your eyes, which lives up to the name "Aru (exist)". Yes, this is a project that is committed to that.

Bodies and Words
「ある」の舞台は物語のストーリー性に頼りません。ネタバレしても影響がありません。
俳優を通じてストーリーを伝えたいのではなく、ストーリーを通じて俳優の美しさや面白さを感じて欲しいのです。
演出アイデアもアイデアを見せるためにあるのではありません。俳優の存在をくっきりさせるためにあります。ですから奇抜で豪華な演出はありません。
俳優のからだとことばの織りなす世界をお楽しみ下さい。
The setting of 'There' does not rely on narrative storytelling. It is not affected by spoilers.
We don't want to tell the story through the actors, we want you to feel the beauty and fun of the actors through the story.
The director's ideas are not there to show how new ideas are either. They are there to make the actors' presence clear. Therefore, there are no eccentric and extravagant staging ideas.
We want you to enjoy the interweaving of the actors' bodies and words.
想像力の喚起
Imaginative Evocation
凝った舞台美術は目を引きます。テーマパークのようなのは、ワクワクします。実は結構主宰者も好きです。
しかし、人間の想像力は実に素晴らしい。何もない空間の中で、俳優のことばやからだから、真っ青な大空や荒れ狂う海を感じることもできる。薔薇の匂い、氷の冷たさも感じる。
演劇企画「ある」では、舞台装置はほとんどありません。俳優と共に想像力をかき立ててください。
The elaborate stage design is eye-catching. Theme parks are exciting. In fact, I quite like to preside over it.
But the human imagination is truly amazing. In an empty space, you can also feel the big blue sky or the raging sea through the actors' words and bodies. We can also smell the roses and feel the coldness of the ice.
In theatre project ARU, there is almost no stage set. Let your imagination run wild with the actors.

「ある」の舞台は見終わったあと、すっきりしません。体の中に消化できない何かが残ります。何日、何年かたって、ふとその残った「何か」が蠢き始めるのが素晴らしい。
すっきりさっぱりすぐ忘れるようなものは作りません。忙しい現代だからこそ、舞台を見てふと立ち止まって欲しいのです。疑問を持ち、考えを巡らせたり、一緒に見た人と話し合ってみたり、そんな時間をお届けします。
You don't feel refreshed after seeing a play of 'ARU'. Something remains in your body that you cannot digest. It is wonderful when, days or years later, that remaining 'something' suddenly begins to stir.
We don't make works that you can easily forget. It is precisely because we are so busy today that we want people to stop and see a play. We will give you time to question, to think, to discuss with those who have seen it with you.
演劇企画「ある」とは
演出家堀益和枝（ほりますかずえ）の主宰する個人企画。公演の毎にスタッフや俳優を集める。毎回、演劇的チャレンジと現代にふさわしい作品を上演している。演劇的チャレンジゆえに、演劇人を中心にウケると思いきや、一般の演劇をあまり見ない層に好評で、主宰者も驚いている。特に、会社員や元会社員、社会で違和感を感じている方にかなり好評。「普通の芝居にないものがある」とのこと。
What is the theatre project Aru?
Individual project led by director Kazue Horimasu. Gathers staff and actors for each performance. Each performance is a theatrical challenge and a work appropriate for the present day. Theatrical challenges are expected to be popular mainly among theatregoers, but to the surprise of the director, they are also well received by the general public, who do not see much theatre. In particular, it has been well received by company employees, former company employees and those who feel uncomfortable in society. 'It has something that ordinary plays don't have'.
